Proposed Bus Stop Changes
The Lawrence Transit System is evaluating bus stop locations along all existing T fixed routes throughout the city. In an effort to reduce multi-block stops and keep the buses on schedule, the transit system is working toward converting service from “wave-down,” where a person can signal the bus to stop anywhere along a route, to designated stops.
The public has provided input on the proposed changes, and the Public Transit Advisory Committee has met to discuss the feedback received.
